Tutorial - How to Input an Audio File or a CD Track?
IntroductionFree MP3 Cutter provides perfect input support for many popular audio formats including MP3, WAV, WMA, OGG, VOX, RAW, CDA, G721, G723, G726, AIFF, AIF, AIFC, MP2, MPC & MPGA. You can load an audio file from your harddrive or directly from an audio CD.
Fact: If you use the wrong music cutter software then the audio file loading may fail, which could possibly lead to errors of your system & unresponsive applications. Some cutters just lack the ability to load the tracks directly from the audio CD.
Load from File
After launching our MP3 cutter, you can click "Load from file" in the "1. Select Media" field and a browser window will be activated, in which you can find the local folder you store the music and add all supported formats like MP3, WMA, WAV, OGG, AIFF, AAC, etc. to the cutter.
Load from Audio CD
If you want to cut a piece of music from a song in an audio CD without ripping it first, you may insert the CD into your drive and click "Load from CD" - all available tracks will be listed and you just need to choose the one you need.
You can choose a track you want to cut in the "Select Tracks" field and it supports free CDDB from which you are able to display audio CD information such as the artist name, CD title, album names and more.
